Småland is a fantastic region with an abundance of visitor destinations and attractions on your doorstep. Many associate Vrigstad with Vrigstad market, whose history dates right back to the 15th century. The hospitality and hub that were formed there back then, and that have grown over the years, are a legacy of which we’re extremely proud, and we try to convey that same spirit in the hospitality we offer as a hotel.

Vrigstad is an attractive little town with plenty of opportunities for pleasant walks by the river, or for the slightly more adventurous perhaps a cycle ride along meandering gravel tracks. The local area has a wealth of great places to visit that we can recommend, with the unique wooden city of Eksjö being a clear favourite. Set the satnav to Möbelriket in Lammhult, Hatten nature reserve or perhaps VandalorumMuseum of Art and Design, and we can promise you a great day out. And if you’re heading down in that direction, then Apladalen natural history park in Värnamo is definitely worth a visit en route.
